Hi Guys , Can any one guide or suggest me, while i gave SharePoint site URL as data source i can only able to get generative ai on SharePoint library files but i cannot able to get or Gen ai  data from list (site contents )which is in the SharePoint site.

Is there any ways to train the list and get responses using copilot studio or using other methods!

Lists are currently not available as a "native" data source for Gen Answers. You could use a custom data pattern, similar to the one shown here: Copilot Studio Generating Answers from a Custom Index such as ServiceNow Knowledgebase - YouTube

Instead of the ServiceNow endpoint, use Power Automate to call Graph API. See the discussion here to understand how Graph calls should be formatted.

My main aim to train the list data for generating the list data. not to call the list using power automate.it sounds like retreiving, but i want to train those list data.

I'm not sure I understand what training means in this context. Can you elaborate and provide examples?

It is weird that the Generative Answers node with SharePoint data source cannot see/search the Attachments documents inside a SharePoint list but can only see/search the documents in a SharePoint document Library... honestly I don't see any fundamental difference there. It is understandable that the fields/columns of a Sharepoint list (or Sharepoint document library) would not be searchable by the Generative Answers node, but all the documents (as main document or attachement document) should be searchable.

Any explanation for that? Is this issue expected to be fixed? @adilei

You know, after three years of Lists! Lists! Lists! from Microsoft (especially the Intrazone and @MarkCashman ) - regarding forwards compatibility with future systems and features..... I cannot believe that Copilot cannot access SharePoint Lists -- and that old fashioned libraries are A OK?!? I have two years worth of data in simple lists with Flows running workflow on them. I can't access these in Copilot Studio Gen AI? I'm not impressed, and I have been, largely - this is a hole that needs to be filled ASAP.

Looks like for now, it's another flow and you'll need to manage your lists within Power Automate Flows and coordinate them with your topics... sadface:

Colocando somente para caso você responda. No meu caso quero extrair de forma quantitativa filtros de uma lista do SharePoint.
