Unable to create New Entity from Excel file

Hi all,

I am trying to create an Entity from Excel (via Entities > Get data > Excel). I go through the steps until I reached the update choices (Either manual or automatic). After that, once I click create as shown below, I was not able to find my entity in the Entities. It disappeared. Have anyone face this issue?. I do not have a premium account, so might be the reason?

Hi @Wakidah :
This problem is usually caused by
delay
not refreshing the page
selecting the wrong entity type
I've made a test but did not encounted the problem you mentioned.
Please perform the following two steps:
Refresh the current page(F5)
Select "Custom" in the drop-down menu in the upper right corner

Hi @Wakidah,
What happens after you click create, does the window close successfully? If you click on Dataflows, do you see you import aka project listed?
Also, another thing to check are your roles and ensure you have privilege to create new entities. Do you have system administrator assigned?

Hi @EricRegnier ,

Thanks for the reply. When I checked the Dataflows, I found a lot of projects that were created while I am trying to upload my entity. For the privilege to create a new Entity, I am only creating entity by Get data>Excel. I think this does not require the privilege. Once I click create, it will close successfully. The issue is that the entity is not shown even changing the types, refresh, wait for hours.

Thanks, so the Dataflows get created which is a good thing. The privileges do matter, can you try with a system administrator account if you're not already? If it still fails with a system admin role, then suggest to lodge a Microsoft support ticket at: https://admin.powerplatform.microsoft.com/support
