Issue: PowerApps Component Framework - Publisher Prefix

Hi,

the algorithms used to create the Publisher Option Value Prefix during PCF creation are different from the ones that are used in the Power Apps Maker Portal. In both cases you are entering the Publisher prefix and the system will create the option value prefix based on internal algorithms. But the expected results are not the same.

If you are using the same prefix in pcfs as you are using in the maker portal and if you import the pcf solution then the publisher prefix in the maker portal will be changed to the value of the pcf prefix and all following Optionset values will have the numbers from the pcf solution as prefix.

Best solution would be that the algorithms would be the same during creation.

Workarounds

1) Use a diffenerent Publisher and Prefix for pcfs as you are having in your environment (this will asllo help with another issue during publisher name creation in pcfs)

2) If you need the same prefix, change the Optionset Value Prefix in the pcf solution before importing, or

3) Do not forget to change the publisher prefix to your default values after importing the solution in the publisher dialog in the PowerApps maker portal.

I have the same question (0)

    Great workaround.
