Hi all,

I have a galley in my App and it's position changes when I first load the app. when I go to another tab and comes again, gallery comes to the correct position.

Please can someone help me to solve this issue?

    Hi @Nipuni ,

Do you see this behavior even when Gallery's Template Padding is set to 0?

Also, have you set anything to make contents responsive? Whether its Gallery or Container or X co-ordinates?

    Hi @Ethan_R ,

Yes, Template Padding is set to 0 and still same behavior.  As you asked about responsiveness, I tried to remove functions that I used and made them hard coded. But still have the same behavior.

Other thing is, when I click first item of the gallery, it selects the 2nd item when gallery skipped to right like this. If I click the empty space above the gallery, it selects first item.

    Regard,

    Nipuni

    @Nipuni ,

This isn't normal behavior, have you changed or added gallery in Scroll card or any other place that shifts in Y co-ordinates?

Do you have same problem when you are in App editor?

If yes, pls do check you X and Y co-ordinates carefully for each control (properties on right pane) if used Parent property then check the instance of X, Y, Height and Width property at that instance.

Although its tricky to know where things went wrong, do you face same issue when you add a Sample gallery on the same page and see the offset change?

If yes, then your parent if making changes on the Gallery control.

    Hope this makes sense

    Hi @Ethan_R ,

Your suggestion helped me. As you said I added another sample gallery to the same container. then I saw that above behavior only happens for the previous one. So I compared properties of both galleries.
The solution was to setting X and Y coordinates with TemplateHeight and TemplateWidth properties. or else I can add static values.

for example, X coordinate Parent.TemplateWidth-458. Previously I used Parent.X. reason for that behavior was using Parent.X and Parent.Y.

Thanks a lot @Ethan_R. Your reply was useful.
