Hi,
I've been working on PowerApps for a few months now but I'm starting on Power BI now and have a couple of (what are probably) basic questions.
For my PowerApp, I have a table of Assets owned by clients. Each Asset has an Asset Category field, and there are 7 possible categories.
To my simple brain, if I select a Pie chart and select the Asset Category field, this should show me what proportion of all the assets registered are Asset Category 1, Asset Category 2 etc. However this doesn't show anything. What am I missing? Why doesn't the visual show % against the sum of all assets?
thanks,
Martin
Hi,
I've been away from this for a while.
I now have a chart that looks like this:
The titles for the slices is obviously pulled from the field, but the only valid values in the dataset are "Asset Category 1" through "Asset Category 6". The title "Blank" has been selected by PowerBI by default so we can see that the number of assets which have not yet been categorised is 46.
How can I change "Blank" to something else, like "Not Categorised"? There doesn't seem to be any option to change the names of the values as they appear in the chart?
