Hello All,

i'm trying to figure out why in my power app when you enter one field they all populate for example

front screen i have

BMW

Mercedes

Lexus

if i for example go into bmw there is a field where you can enter the reg, so i enter the reg but then what it does is populate the same reg for all the others ?

any advice please.

We don't have much information about the formulas from your components, but it feels like you are referring to a field inside the gallery and not a value from an item inside the gallery. Let me explain:

You have to add a value to a new field inside your collection:

AddColumns(
    yourCollection;
    reg;
    'BMW'
)
 

Then, you can patch this column based your reg value:

Patch(

clctItems;

ThisItem;

{

reg: dropdownReg

}

)

Now, you should have different value from a record to another.

Otherwise, if you don't work with a gallery, you gonna need to give more information about your situation.
