I'm creating a powerapps where I need the user to edit information from a gallery through a form, in powerapps I was able to make the keyed connections. But my data is in a Table in an Excel File on One Drive, so if I don't share it, the Excel file gives the user an error when reading the table. Is there any way in which the user can see the table in PowerApps, edit it, but without being able to view it outside of PowerApps?
For your scenario i would recommend to change the location of thew excel file to a Sharepoint, because in Power Apps you will be able to create a connection(For Sharepoint) to a specific user (like a service principal) and give it the access for this file to the new user not for the current user.
The current user will be able to make create and updates from the canvas app, because the connection will not be on your name and will not be able to access the file externally.
This is the best away to achieve what you need.
