Use Case: Automatic Creation and Updating of PVA Topics from a Public-Facing Website

Objective: To automate the process of creating, updating, and enabling new topics for a Microsoft Power Virtual Agents (PVA) bot based on the content of a public-facing website.

I don't find any way to achieve this without having any human supervision. Did anyone try or able to make this possible?

I have the same question (0)

    Hi @sishiramishra,

Can you share more on the use case? Why would you want to use Power Automate to create topics from a public facing website?

How would you expect to create topics, add trigger phrases, nodes (messages, questions, etc.) to it?

@HenryJammes  Thank you for your response.
In my use case, the Topics are kind of FAQ. This FAQs are added by multiple users over in an internal portal and the same is exposed via internal API. As PVA suggested URL expect public facing link, I run a power automate flow to read API and create CSV. I same CSV I added to the web URL and mark it public.

Now I don't have a way to automate the second part to import the URL in auto-suggest link and import all to topics.

True, there is no API for suggested topics in PVA.

A bit of a far-fetched workaround would be through RPA? Introduction to desktop flows - Power Automate | Microsoft Learn

Another approach would potentially to create new topics as Chatbot Subcomponents (botcomponent) records in Dataverse, but that can be complex (and not supported).

Can I ask that you log the use case and desired feature here?

    Thank you!

did you get any way to do that?

    Thanks
