Invalid Argument type for = sign in a lookup

Dear Experts,

@PowerAddict

I have done a lookup for a label as below,

LookUp('Item Master','Model Number' = ComboBox2_3.SelectedItems.Value,'Brand Name')

But it says for the = as invalid argument type, I would like to understand why is that? I can use "in" but it is having the delegation issue

How can I overcome this ?

Osmand

    How many values are you selecting from the combo box? If only one, try this:

    LookUp('Item Master','Model Number' = ComboBox2_3.Selected.Value,'Brand Name')

    Let me know if this works.

    @OsmandFernando

    Does your current formula return any values?  I am unclear about this because 'Model Number' could be either column type: text, number or LookUp.  Which one is it?

    If your model number field is a LookUp type then I would suggest trying this code.

    LookUp('Item Master','Model Number' in ComboBox2_3.SelectedItems,'Brand Name')

    My proposed solution assumes the Items property of ComboBox2_3 is this code

    'Item Master'

    The equals operator cannot be used here because SelectedItems contains one or more records.  The equals sign can only match a single value.  Therefore we use the IN operator instead.

    Hi,

    Could you help me Please.

    I need to get "Result Exists " when Managerstatus is "pending" and company column is specific value(like Wipro already there in the dropdown). Here company is lookup column it gets value from 'MasterList' and managerstatus is not lookup column and it is just dropdown column. Form is in 'PWList'. "Result Exists " should appear when both condition are statisfied.
