Access dataverse in different env with connection reference configure in power apps studio

Hi,

I want to access different dataverse data sources from different env within power apps. Is that a way to explicit configure it to use different connection reference for different tables?
E.g. with current env dataverse table use current user credentials to apply role based access control (security group/business unit/team)

for another env use connection reference created by service account

NOTE: I know power automate able to configure it in action setting, but how to do similar things in canvas app?

For Dataverse, the table data is stored in each environment, it is not possible to natively connect to data residing in a different environment.

However, if it is really required to retrieve the data from a different environment you will have to use other tools like dataflows, dual write functions to mirror the database. As you shared it is also possible with power automate.

As per my knowledge it can't be directly possible with PowerApps but you can use Power automate to do that task for you.
