HI everyone
I am a PowerUser beginner but love the product in it's simplicity and powerfull use! My question I put here maybe a stupid one but still I want to give it a try since it could have great functionality in our school organisation.
So our school runs a client-server configuration with Windows server 2012 R2 and Windows 10 eductaion clients. We use an On Premise Active directory which is synchronized with Office 365.
I understand you can connect to Azure active directory for administration on Office 365 users. I also understood u can f.e. connect with an On Premise SQL server through a gateway. But what we are looking for is a simple Power App to give to a non-IT minded perspon in our organisation so he can add a new member to our On Premise active directory. So In fact I need a connection with our On Premise Active Directory and manipulate it with a Power App.
Is this question realistic? Since I could not find it anywhere on the Net till now I give it a try in here. Hope someone can give me an answer so I can go further or maybe I should give up my search and try to find another solution for ths problem. Thx a lot for your answer(s).
Greetz, Walter.
Hi Walter,
As far as I know, it is not available to connect to On-Premise AD to get the data in the PowerApps.
You could post this idea in the PowerApps Ideas forum, so it might be considered for future releases.
