Combobox no items after adding manual item to Sharepoint List

I tried with a choice column first and had the same problem so I thought single line of text would be easier. The problem I have is when I add something that is not in the dropdown using this in my datacard update field (see below) then after there are no choices in the dropdown. I have form set to default new and a button with submitform; resetform. If I make a selection from the drop down then it works but when I add something from the search text after submit all the choices are gone. Anyone have any ideas why?

If(ComboBox3.Selected.Slitter=Blank(),ComboBox3.SearchText,ComboBox3.Selected.Slitter)

Hi,

I didnt understand the issue, however can use try this:

If(IsBlank(ComboBox3.Selected.Slitter),ComboBox3.SearchText,ComboBox3.Selected.Slitter)

@ANB I will add some pictures and try to explain better. I have a SP list and I'm using a CB to select or add something to the text column. The CB works fine as long as I select something from the dropdown. If I add something using the searchtext then after that there is nothing in the CB dropdown to select. Heres a couple pictures.

Saved, closed, and reopened

Select TM01 and submit, selections still exist.

Manually add TM03 and submit.

Now no selections exist, old or new?

This is after I clicked the Chevron

Hi StephenGW,

Please confirm are you using Classic CB or Modern CB?

Also when you says that "Manually add TM03 and submit" does that mean that your try to search for "TM03" which is not available in CB list and then you submit the form? What do you mean by submit here?

If you are using modern CB then did you try to use classic CB? Modern controls are in preview and should be used until it is GA.
