Network error when using Patch function

I am getting this error when trying to do a bulk update using patch function. Even though none of the fields in this SharePoint list are required or read only fields except for the system generated like created, modified, etc. Can someone please help?
This is a drop down field. I have tried giving it a default value, removed this field from the app but still this error keeps popping up on the second time I do a bulk update. It works perfectly fine the first time I try to bulk update (multiple fields, multiple rows in a sharepoint list)
Network error when using Patch function: Column 'Contains_x0020_Personal_x0020_Se#Id' is read-only and can't be modified
I have the same question (0)

    In SharePoint the ID field is an autogenerated System field and it can't be changed after the system creates it.  Your Patch includes the ID field, which can't be edited. Remove that from the Patch function and you should be fine.

    You say the fields that are erroring are dropdowns.  Are they Lookup columns to other SharePoint lists?

    @Pstork1 no they are not lookup columns. just simple dropdowns with values. for ex: data prep level dropdown has values Gold
    Silver,
    Bronze
    None of these dropdowns are required fields or read only.

    Share my thought:
    I would  like to try to bind the dropdown item from sharepoint columns (Choice/lookup). so they are always the same type.

    @stampcoin I did not understand what you are trying to say. Can you please explain with an example?

    In your app, what is generating colbulkupdate Your UpdateIF()  is updating the value of some of the fields in that collection. But when you use it in the patch its going to apply the Patch to all the fields in colbulkupdate, even the ones that havent been updated.  And if colbulkupdate is created by just grabbing full records from the SharePoint list then there are fields in there that are part of the patch, that aren't listed in the UpdateIf().  I think that's where the extraneous Read Only fields are coming from.

    What mean is for example:
    You have a choice column in your list.
    ClearCollect(
        MyChoices,
        Choices(
            MyList.MyChoicesColumn
        )
    )
    DropDown.Item= MyChoices

    Please let me know if it confused you.
