Is it possible to remove a relationship from a solution without deleting it from the entire system?

Im trying to move a solution into production and i did not want to bring along all test entities we are currently developing.

I have the same question (0)

    Hi @BallZer0h,

Yes it's possible. This is done by adding sub-component level components to a solution. High level steps:

    1. Remove your entity from your solution
    2. Add it again, but do no select "Include All Components"
    3. Select only the components that changed. Note this assumes the entity(s) already in the target environment

    More on this: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powerapps/maker/common-data-service/create-solution#create-a-segmented-solution-with-entity-assets

    Hope this helps!

Yes its possible. In fact, any components can be removed from the solution without having it delete from the entire system. In case of Managed Solution though it can be a different story.

In case of unmanaged solution, remove the component from the solution.

In case of managed solution, remove it from the unmanaged solution in dev env and then in staging on prod create a unmanaged solution add the relationship under it so that it won't be affected when you import it inside that environment as managed solution.
