Copilot Studio Agent not accessing SharePoint knowledge - only in Teams

Hi, I have created an agent in Copilot Studio that uses a sharepoint document library as the knowledge source. We have published our agent in Teams for the organization to use. This is been working fine since March. This week, the agent suddenly stopped being able to access knowledge from Sharepoint, but only when we use it in Teams. In the copilot studio test environment, it still works great. But in Teams, it cannot give any answers from the sharepoint library (it just says our fallback message of "I'm sorry, I do not have an answer for that. Can you try rephrasing?"). We have added a few websites to knowledge too and those still work as expected in the studio environment and in Teams.

We have not changed any permissions in Sharepoint, the documents are still viewable by all members of our organization. We have copilot studio set to authenticate with Microsoft. I asked our IT team if they changed any permission settings for Sharepoint or Teams and they have not. We have a few other agents published that we use for testing or other tasks, and they are all experiencing the same problem. Anyone else seeing this or have a solution?

Did you try reauthenticating with SharePoint and republishing the agent?

@ronaldwalcott What do you mean by "reauthenticating sharepoint"? We have removed the sharepoint knowledge and re-added it, no improvement. How do I reauthenticate sharepoint?

if IT is sure to not have activated any Power Platform DLP.
If the authentification is totally the default one on microsoft
if you attached / detach the KB and then publish and then force use the new bot
did you try to create a new agent ?

the last "work around" it to stop using the classic sharepoint KB and use the new one , just above, in the ADD KB screen, a lit link "one drive / sharepoint" have been added in the pop up : is you file are less than 32mb per file and under 200 per KB : this feature will save you ; it add all the file "secretly" to dataverse and use azure index (without cost) : so no more problem :) (security is still the same since the security trimming is verify at each request)

if it help, please check the answer ok :) it's important
