Custom activity table have relationships with so many other tables and can't be deleted

Hello!!

When I create a new Custom Activity Table, it seems to Automatically get associated with a bunch of other tables. I understand that Activities can be linked to other tables, but why is this happening automatically?

The issue is that I cannot delete an Activity table without removing all it's relationships with many other tables.

Any insight is appreciated.

    Hi @Xv,

    This is by design. Any tables that are enabled for activities will have a one to many relationship created to each activity table, including Custom Activity tables.

    Is it possible to remove these relationships in a single operation? I assume it could be done with a Flow or custom code.

    Did you find a solution here? I understand that it is by design that a custom activity table gets a lot of relationships, but surely one should be able to delete it if not needed, wrongly created or similar? I'm pretty sure I've deleted custom activity tables in the past in previous versions of CE/CRM. The classic UI gives the following error for my custom new_line entity (yes, its prefixed "new", just for testing):

    This again led me to this setting;

    pkandreassen_1-1684787403001.png

    Which of course cannot be disabled once it's enabled because all other related entities also has this enabled. At least closer to understanding why, but what a nightmare. Be sure to create your custom activity tables right the first time 😞

    Hi @pkandreassen,

    You can delete custom activity tables and other custom tables in general, but you can't delete standard tables that are included with all environments.

    Please tell me how, cause I still have dependencies, see the second screenshot in my previous post.
