Barcodescanner with PDA

I want to create a simple barcodescanner app which can be used with an actual scanner (Device: Datalogic Memor 10, runs on Android 8.1)

However, when I use the "Barcodescanner" via media. The app runs, but when I want to scan. The camera is used. This is very unpractical, so I want the app to use the 1d/2d scanner to scan.

Does anyone know if this is possible?

I've tried to use the preview web Barcode scanner element, but without succes.

The Barcode Scanner control in PowerApps only works on Mobile devices and only through the camera.

You would not be able to use it as an actual bar code scanner within the app like that.

If the scanner can simulate a keyboard (which is what most do) then it can at least fill in a text input control with the value it scans.

I got same problem would like to use 2d laser to scan , not the camera.

As mentioned, this is not currently possible on the device like that.

You might want to submit an idea in the idea forum.
