I have over 10 gigs of Capacity in the Power Platform Admin Center but I can't add a Dataverse database to an environment. I am a Power Platform Team Lead at a major consulting company and this is my private small tenant (three E3 licenses and one Power Apps Per App license) . I specifically bought the Power Apps Per User license in order to get the 10 gigs of Dataverse capacity that that license provides so I can set up DEV and PROD environments. However, I bought this license over A WEEK AGO and the PPAC is STILL not recognizing the Dataverse capacity. I put in a support ticket, got one boilerplate email and since then NOTHING.
I realize this is a TINY TENANT, but Power Apps is obligated by law to work even for tiny tenants. I am angry and frustrated and don't know where to go for help. I can't even PAY for support because the minimum is 20 users at $9 a month per user.
Has anybody experienced this or does anyone know any way to get Microsoft to respond to this issue? I love the Power Platform and have been a huge advocate of it in my professional work but this kind of behavior is making me reconsider my whole attitude towards it. Screenshots below of my capacity, the capacity error and my license purchase
Thanks,
Kathryn
The message about adding a Dataverse database being subject to capacity constraints is an informational message, not an error. Do you get an actual error when you hit the Add button at the bottom of the panel? I get the same message, but the database is created when I hit Add.
