Getting Started Setting Up a Boost Conversation ChatBot in Power Virtual Agents

Hey all,

I recently started a business and am interested in exploring the capabilities of Power Virtual Agent, especially with Boost Conversations but I am running into difficulties getting it set up and hope the community here can help.

First, I need to create a new environment set to US (Preview) in order to try out boost conversations functionality as my default is Canada.  I attempt this and am prompted that I need to set up a billing method but both adding capacity or attempting Pay-As-You-Go run into roadblocks.  Adding capacity would seem the easiest, yet when I attempt to do this from the admin centre, I see only "Billing (preview)" with no option to add anything, just a dropdown to "licenses (preview)" instead of the expected options.  I created an Azure account to try with Pay-As-You-Go, and apparently need to create a "resource group" in order to create a billing policy for said resource group, so that it can be then tied to Power Virtual Agent, so that I can then set up a chat bot with boost.

What I should see if just adding database capacity:

I frankly don't mind just paying for a database add on monthly, though I am open to setting up a pay as you go channel through azure (I've made an azure account, and made a resource group, but I cannot see how to tie this to an environment in a new region when I need it to create the environment in the first place.)  Is there a step by step instructional someone can refer me to, or else point out what obvious mistake I am making here?  The business has only just been set up, I am the only user on the license and should have all administrative privileges.

Disregard!  I needed to be in the admin center for the outlook account general rather than the Power Virtual Agent section.

Resolved after may days of scratching my head 🙂
