SharePoint List Person Field - Limiting to SharePoint Members returns no results

Hi there,

I am working on an app, and I would like to limit the output on a Person field to only the SharePont Site Members. There are 28 Members total.

Whenever I go into the field in SharePoint and set the limit to our SharePoint Group members in the List Settings, the dropdown does not show any results.

How would I work around this, or what might cause this issue?

    Hi,

Steps to Limit Person Field to SharePoint Site Members

    1. Check SharePoint Site Settings:

      • Go to your SharePoint site.
      • Navigate to Settings > Site Permissions to ensure that the SharePoint Group or members have been properly added.
    2. Limit Person Field in SharePoint List Settings:

      • In the SharePoint list, go to List Settings.
      • Under People and Groups column settings, ensure that:
        • Only show people and groups from this field is set to People/Groups.
        • Set the field to display only site members by selecting the SharePoint Group or Site Members.
    3. Ensure Proper Permissions:

      • Ensure that the SharePoint site members have sufficient permissions to view the list.
    4. Power Apps Configuration:

      • In Power Apps, connect to the SharePoint list and ensure that the Person field is bound correctly to the SharePoint list field.
    5. Check if Filtering Works:

      • In Power Apps, use the following formula to filter the Person field only to SharePoint site members:
        Filter(yourListName, SiteMemberField = true)

I don't understand the following steps:
    1. Power Apps Configuration:

      • In Power Apps, connect to the SharePoint list and ensure that the Person field is bound correctly to the SharePoint list field.
    2. Check if Filtering Works:

      • In Power Apps, use the following formula to filter the Person field only to SharePoint site members:
        Filter(yourListName, SiteMemberField = true)

I have the list connected in the power app, and I'm not sure where I would put that filter in the app itself? When I add the formula to the items field it shows an error.
    My current items filter shows

I did more research and I added Office 365 Groups and User connectors,

Added the following to the app OnStart:
    ClearCollect(
      SiteMembers,
      Office365Groups.ListGroupMembers("GROUPID").value
    );

Added the following to the Person Item Field:
    Filter(
      Office365Users.SearchUser({searchTerm: "", top: 999}),
      DisplayName in SiteMembers.displayName
    )

And I still get 0 results, I can see the table in the collections and it has the list of people I need

I resolved this by setting the items property on the dropdown to "SiteMembers" and this resolved the need for any other limitations or configurations
