Hey Team

I am building my first app and am very green at this, I have resolved a few other issues but seem to be stuck here.

I have added a second date picker to my app which has no errors but the Hour Picker and Min Picker have this same error.

I have compared this End Date card to the other Date Card that has no errors and I cant quite understand why only this one has the errors.

I have researched on here quite intensively and cant find anything specific to guide me to self fix and some guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Regards

Jamie

    @jabbajaws77 ,

    Are the Hour Picker and Min Picker controls inside the End_Date card ?

    How is defined the End_Date column in your datasource (date type ? datetime type ?)

    Yes they are in the End_Date card

    End_Date column in the table is formatted as per below custom date format.

    @jabbajaws77 ,

    Can you try for hour:

    Left(Text(Parent.Default,"hh:mm"),2)

     and for minutes:

    Right(Text(Parent.Default,"hh:mm"),2)

    Are you using an Excel file as datasource ?

    @gabibalaban you are fantastic 🙂 that worked perfectly, not sure I understand why setting left and right worked and also having hour and minute in each but it worked so wont complain 😉

    If I could be so cheeky to ask you 1 more question though, everything is now working on my form except I have 2 View Only fields that capture the user submitting the form and the date they added it, they show on the form when you click the tick to submit but they do not write to the table. Any thoughts what I need to check to see why its not posting to the data table?

    Regards

    @jabbajaws77 ,

    most probably the two columns are choice or lookup types and for this the update property should be set a little bit different (like a record)

    For choice type is enough to set {value: your value to Upload}, but for lookup there is a special schema of the record (you should check this out because i never remaind it 😊).
