238Hey all,
Was messing around with the VS Code extension, Power Platform Tools. Wanted to try out the other pac plugin init CLI command.
It did a great job of scaffolding the project template. I enjoy having the PluginBase created.
But what I absolutely love the most is the ability to write C# directly in VSCode, and then run the Build Task in VSCode. It seems I can do almost everything in VSCode now without ever having to open the full sluggish Visual Studio application.
Maybe this has been around for a while and I just haven’t noticed, but it’s new to me and thought I’d share my enthusiasm.
I’ve only ever really used VSCode for TypeScript and JavaScript projects, but I’m very excited about being able to do some Dataverse plugins in VSCode.
That being said… does anyone know of a VSCode extension that is similar to Prettier but for C#? :-p. I really like applying format on save.
