Hi,

I have a screen that is connected to a SharePoint list
Galley is a list of names from the sharepoint site
Form1 is the users information again from the sharepoint list

I have a button that is called Submit and has Onselect : Submitform - sends info back to sharepoint list
I also want a check box that auto ticks when the button has been ticked.

But. I also have a success screen, so Submit button - Success screen - Tick box.
Any help would be appreciated

Thank you.

    Hi,

    You can use a variable. You also need to validate if your submit works properly before checking your checkbox, right ?

    Ok, first, initialize a variable. On the 'OnVisible' property of your first screen:

    Set(_ticks; false)

    Then, use 'IfError' function to make sure you validate good process of your submit:

    IfError(
        SubmitForm(Form1);
        Notify("Error, submit not completed: " & FirstError.Message; NotificationType.Error; 2000);
        Notify("Success story."; NotificationType.Success; 2000);; Set(_ticks; true)
    )
    Now, you just have to set your checkbox 'Checked' property value to _ticks:

    It should works!

    I hope it helps!

    Placed a button (submit) on Select Property of button used context variable varcheck as true.

    Post succesful submission of record set the value as ->
    UpdateContext({ varCheck: false})

    In the Default property of the checkbox - pass the context variable

    Also update the checkbox OnSelect property , in case if user unselecting the checkbox.

    Hope this helps!

    That was incredibly helpful thankyou,
    the next issue I have is that once that user has been actioned  = checkbox ticked, the MD will then move to a different user to complete the audit for aswell
    Currently that checkbox remains ticked,
    how can I make it remain ticked on the users that have been actioned but unticked on the users that have not yet been actioned?

    Sorry if  have misunderstood the below

    Thank you,

    Ordered one food and adding more toppings to it  😁.

    Lets tweek your solution in this way.

    Create a column in the backend - ActionedByUser (type: Person or text)
    •     If its text - use the User().Email property.
    •     Person

    Patch(
        YourListName,
        Form1.LastSubmit,
        {
            ActionedByUser: User().Email,
           IsActioned : CheckboxCanvas1.Checked

        }
    );

    Checkbox default property (if ActionedByUser is text column)

    If(ThisItem.IsActioned && ThisItem.ActionedByUser = User().Email,true,false)

    Person Column

    ThisItem.IsActioned && ThisItem.ActionedByUser.Email = User().Email

    Hope this helps.

    Create a two column like this in the backend.
    and implement the logic.

    Hope this helps!
