Triggering Copilot Studio Agent by incoming E-mail is not working

Hello everyone,

If I create an autonomous agent in Copilot Studio and set it up to receive an email as a trigger and use the standard flow for this, the flow cannot transfer the data to Copilot and runs into a ‘NotImplemented’ error.

However, if I manually execute the trigger again in the Studio, the agent can reply to my email.

What is the reason for this and how can I fix it?

Hi LiamDeck ,

Can see the error message specified in your screenshot - The Response is not in Json format.

Please check if the prompt is getting the proper Json format.

I don't know what the problem with the JSON format is. This is the flow, that was automatically created when I added the Email trigger in Copilot Studio. I did not customize the flow. I think it's pretty strange that it's working if I test the trigger in the studio, but the flows in Power Automate are running for 4 hours until they fail.

I have an identical issue. Flow cannot send prompt to copilot for processing.

Have you already found a way out of the problem?

Is this issue still persisting for you? I am using the same trigger and have not run into this issue.
