adding Excel file in a sharePoint Library to power App as data source?

Why Power App does not show excel files stored in a SharePoint library as data source for app to be created? he only does so for lists in SharePoint site?

Hi

You should be able to choose the Excel file and the required Sheet as data source in Power Apps by using the "Excel Online (Business)" connector. Select this, your site and the required file.

I have gone through your below reply dated 25th August. Thank you so much.

But as per my understanding these excel templates shall be standard table format. Any possibility to use the template (refer the below snapshot) and extract the data to SP List/ SP Document library ??

You are right. For unstructured data, I would suggest using Power Automate AI Builder - Document Processing model. Bear in mind that this is a Premium feature which means you will require a Power Automate Premium license to use it. It is $15 per month but you can start a free 30-day trial to explore the capability.
