Inspection App in Teams: create flow based on form values

Hi, I am using the Inspection app in Teams.

I would like to create a flow that send an email to a user, when an issue is reported in the inspection form.

This form has six IT devices to check for issue.

If at least one of these devices reports an issue (you can add a note, task to do, and and image for adding details to the issue), the email must be sent with all the filled values in the form, after being reviewed at the next screen.

How can this be achieved?

Thanks in advance

You can do this 2 ways. First way is directly in the application, use the Outlook connector and SendAnEmail() function then pass the parameters as you wish. Or you can generate a Power Automate Flow that is triggered when the item is saved and to then send an email.

Refer to this document for guidance: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-apps/maker/canvas-apps/connections/connection-office365-outlook

thank you, I did already looked into that. What I wished to find was a guide of what you suggested applied to the inspection app, as it is populated with lots of variables. And, because I am not an expert, I find it a bit difficult to understand what to pass in the flow, or to the outlook connector.

You can do it in PowerApps by adding the outlook connector:

The code would look like this on your button:

        Office365Outlook.SendEmailV2(

            Email of user,

            Email Subject,

            Email Body  )

Or you can do it via Power Automate:

You can then ask in PowerApps or pass it values from your SharePoint list.
