Error: The display order of an uploaded CSS is unspecified and must be fixed manually.

I'm using the Volunteer Engagement portal provided by Microsoft for Nonprofit. Certain icons weren't showing that appear to be font awesome icons, so I'm trying to upload the font-awesome css file. When I initially add it in the design studio, the icons start working, but when I refresh, they're gone, and I see an error: The display order of an uploaded CSS is unspecified and must be fixed manually. To make the fix, go to site management. The entry shows a display order number that doesn't conflict with any other entries.

I'm also getting the same error notification on my Power Pages screen, but for a slightly different reason.  Can an engineer on this team please provide some guidance on how to deal with these errors?  There's no guidance beyond the point of clicking the link for "site management".

I learnt the hard way that you can't delete certain .CSS files or the order they are in, and if you upload any, make sure it is displayed in a specific order Manage CSS files in Power Pages | Microsoft Learn I wrote this as a back up. You probably have to go to the CSS file and give it an order of 10, 11

    FileDisplay order
    bootstrap.min.css8
    theme.css9
    custom.css10, 11, etc.

Bootstrap 3 in Power Pages was uses Glyphicons instead of FontAwesome. Maybe your link to FontAwesome is overriding Glyphicons causing them to not display? (I'm not sure about Bootstrap 5; haven't used it yet.)

There is a Content Snippet called Head/Fonts available for including custom fonts like FontAwesome.
