Use create generative answer; Error: "Only visible to you"

Hi all,

I’m currently creating an agent. For one of my topics, I wanted to use the “Create generative answer” option. It worked multiple times with different inputs, but since yesterday I’m no longer getting a response - instead, I just receive the message “Only visible to you.”

I’ve already recreated the topic and it worked at first, but now I’m getting the same message again.

Does anyone know what the issue might be?

    Can you please go look into your Activity log for Copilot, let's what is being triggered.
     
    I would like to see what the Topic is, the Trigger Phrases and or description for the Trigger as well as its published state and lastly if you can do a step by step picture of what you do.
     
    lastly does it work properly in Test mode? just not published? And is this a Public website, or is this just in the testing environment?
     
    Some steps you can try
     
    1. Clear your cache
    2. Use an Incognito or Private Browser Tab instance or a totally different browser
    3. Validate sharing of the agent and any connections to verify that the connections are good
     
    If you can share all of that it should be fairly easy to figure out.

    The agent is not published yet - I’m receiving this error in the test environment. I’ve also tried clearing the cache and using incognito mode, but it still doesn’t work. Today, I’m also seeing this error message:
    AuthoringCanvas:AuthoringCanvasResources.TestChat.failureScenarioOptions.answerNotFoundInSearchResultsText
     
    GPT still writes the text, but as soon as it is finished the text is gone and I'm seeing the Only visible to you and the above error message.

    I am facing the same issue.
    Tried the below suggestions, but didnt work for me.
    Tried in incognito mode browser, clearing cache but same issue. Although i did noticed that ocassionaly it does return the generative answers result in message but most of the time "
    Only visible to you
     
    "
     
    I have also stopped sharing so agent is not shared to anyone, removed channels, no connections.
    lastly does it work properly in Test mode? No
    I am only running agent in copilot studio , test.
     
    Created another test agent and generative answers work fine in that agent.

    Were you able to solve this, @LL-29061645-0?

    I have the same issue. It was working fine, but now all of a sudden I'm getting two answers in Copilot studio. The first one is the correct one, but then after it says 'Only visible to you'.

    And then the second answer is always the same and basically useless, the Agent every time asking to formulate the question in a different way

    Writing in as I am having the same issue.
     
    I notice that the 'Create generative answers' action nodes tend to stop working after a day or two, despite making no changes to the settings or topics. 
    This is the only thing that shows up(In the 'Test' section):
    Whereas on the demo website, no response is generated.
     
    The only workaround for me that works so far is to copy all my topics and tools into a new agent to republish, which is unfortunately very tedious.
     
     
    Hope someone is able to troubleshoot this or identify the issue

    We are having the same issue - and put a ticket about it but not explicit answer - we created new enviroments - new billing plans and more, but the issue persists.
     
    If someone get some clue to resolve, please let us know.

    I had the same issue. I tried enabling the "Classic data" toggle per this reddit post. It works! Sort of. For reasons that are unclear and unbelievably frustrating, unchecking this toggle completely breaks the node. 
     
    The node is still a complete failure in doing what it was asked, but at least it's not throwing an error. Now it just says "No match found" 9 times out of 10. And 1 time out of 10 it works great. 
     
    Here are my directions for the generative answers node:
     
    You are connected to a single knowledge source: An Excel file titled "MAP STC FAQs".
     
    Compare the user's question (saved to MapGrowthQ) to the Excel file. Check columns A, B, and C of all rows to find the cell that is the best match.
     
    In your response, return the following information, formatted as shown below:
     
    Question: the exact contents of the cell that you think matches the user's question
     
    Answer: the exact contents of the [Answer] column of the corresponding row. If the Answer contains a specific page # or slide #, make sure that information is bolded.
     
    Resource: A clickable link taking from the exact contents of the [Resource Link] column of the corresponding row, but labeled with the value of the [Resource] column.
     
    Ensure a new line is present between each of the 3 elements above. Ensure that "Question", "Answer", and "Resource" are bold.
     
    If no match can be found to the user's question, simply respond with, "No match found in the FAQ".
