AAD email filter not working

Hi,

In dataverse, when designing the view for a model driven app on the AAD virtual table - the filter for contains doesn't seem to work. For example, if my contain filter shows aol, the result will show blank.

However, if I have a user aol@aol.com, it will pick up the aol before the @ sign.

The reason for this is because my tenant has multiple operating companies and I only want to filter and show my company's domain. Any ideas?

I have the same question (0)

According to the Microsoft Documentation, it is not possible to filter the Virtual Tables:

    • Although you can add virtual table columns as a lookup on a grid or other UI views, you cannot filter or sort based on this virtual table lookup column.
    • Search functionality is not supported for virtual tables as they do not persist data.

Maybe it partially works in your case because these values are at the beginning of the alphabet and were already cached somehow.

Thanks got it. Then any suggestion for a dataverse table that would link up to AD? Otherwise, I would need to manually add the employees again in the contacts table instead of leveraging the existing user data tables.
