Power Automate - Get data from multiple entities

Hey there,

Let's say the creation of a new record in a certain table fired my power automate flow.

What's a better way of gathering related data from several dataverse entities than querying one by one with multiple "List rows" functions (available in power automate). I've already done one "List rows" to table 2 with a lookup field equal to the value I am passing. Now I need to pick another column from table 2 and send its value to another related on in table 3 and so on.

Thanks

Hello, @AndreTheDev. You can utilize the Expand Query or the Fetch Xml Query options in the List Rows Action in Power Automate:

    Hi @AndreTheDev ,

Just to expand a bit on what @AhmedSalih said, as long as the data you're looking for are from N:1 relationships from your main entity then you should be able to do it.

To focus on FetchXml specifically, you can create a FetchXml that brings columns from related tables on the result.

I'd suggest either using the Advanced Find editor to build your query and bring whatever columns you need from related tables, or use a tool like the FetchXml Builder on the XrmToolbox.

Then just paste that FetchXml on the FetchXml query field on Power Automate and that's it, that'll bring the data.

    hope that helps
