Help with Publishing and Sharing an Agent

Hi All, Hope someone can help me. I'm new to creating MA Copilot Agents and want to publish and share one I've created. MS Copilot says once I've created or updated my Agent, I should get a link to share but it hasn't given me one automatically. I'm working is Studio. If anyone can help, I'd be really grateful :)

Hi,

The share link doesn't appear automatically until the agent is published and enabled through a channel.

You can try this:

1. Go to your agent in Microsoft Copilot Studio.

2. Click the Publish button (top left) and wait for it to complete.

3. Once published, go to the Channels tab.

4. Select Teams or Microsoft 365 Copilot

5. A side panel will open -> Click "Availability Options"

6. There you'll see the "Copy Link" button to share your agent

7. The link gets copied to your clipboard and looks like this - https://teams.microsoft.com/l/app/?titleId=XXXXX-XXXXXX-XXXX

If you don't see the link, double-check if your agent is successfully published.

Hi,

This is expected behavior in Copilot Studio, the share link is not generated automatically just after creating the agent.

You first need to publish the agent and enable it on a channel before the sharing option becomes available.

You can try the following:

Go to your agent in Copilot Studio

Click Publish and wait for it to complete

Navigate to the Channels tab

Select a channel like Microsoft Teams or Microsoft 365 Copilot

Open Availability options

There you should see the Copy link option

The share link is only generated once the agent is successfully published and made available through a channel.

If you still don’t see the link, it’s worth double-checking:

The publish step completed successfully

The agent is enabled for the selected channel
