Security roles not assigned to team members of dynamics membership security group

Hi,

I'm building multiple applications on the Power Platform.

I have created a security group in Entra ID with a dynamic membership rule, which adds all users from a specific country.
In Dataverse I created a team, which is connected to the security group.
I assigned a security role to the team.

The problem is that users do not get the security role assigned and cannot access the relevant environment. I need to manually assign the security role to them for it to work.

Do dynamic membership security group generally not work for security role assignments?

Hello,

to understand it correctly, let me break it down:

1. You created a security group in Entra ID with dynamic membership rule.

2. You created a Dataverse team which's of Entra ID group type.

What's missing here is to assign the Security Role to the Dataverse team. Did you perform that?

can you describe it more? What role are you assigning? The one that you've assigned to the team? And then it works? Have you checked the team membership? You see the people assigned?
