Hi all,

I am trying to import rows from a csv/ excel file into a Dataverse table.
Has anyone achieved this? Here are my parameters:

- csv/ excel file is on SharePoint
- table has been created in the Dataverse with the correct columns.
- I am using PowerApps for Teams since we don't really have access to anything else for now.

I was able in another solution to create a table on a file in SharePoint (one drive) thanks to a script.
In this case it seems like I need to use a Compose Step and Parse JSON? is there anything easier?
I tried to make it work on PowerApps for teams but couldn't do it.

Any advice is appreciated! @ANB  any idea? you helped me with my last issue thank you so much!

regards,

Georg

    Hi @PorgyPudding ,

I don't think it's possible to read csv file in PowerApps because converting file content into string is impossible, so you need the help of Power Automate flow. The detailed steps you can find in below blog:

Power Automate: How to parse a CSV File to create a JSON array (tachytelic.net)

thank you! of course. I meant inside the flow in power automate my bad for the mistake.

for now I am using the "list rows" from excel that seems to be working (with some mistakes..)

I have found similar solutions to what you have posted, maybe if I have more time I will try the csv route.

    thanks a lot
