[BUG] - updatedProperties didn't show correct data in harness

Hi All,

I just noticed that context.updatedProperties didn't show correct values in harness. For example - we have a data-set component. When we update it in harness with our local data despite updateView function is triggering context.updatedProperties doesn't contain data. In production however, when data-set is updated it showed correctly in context.updateProperties.

I have the same question (0)

    Hi @OOlashyn ,

It is a known gap that updatedProperties will only populate in Model, not in either the harness or Canvas.  For Canvas PCF support of updatedProperties, it is tracked by work item 1542814 but no word on support in the harness.

    Hi @jopursle ,

Thanks for your response.  I think this is a very interesting feature and being able to utilize it in harness for testing and more predictable development would be really nice.

I just wasted an hour trying to figure out why this was empty in the test harness.  Any word on when then test harness will be fixed?

As a followup on this item, updatedProperties will now be populated in Canvas as well as Model.  Still no update on the test harness though.
