Any idea how to add create button on the subgrid?

Hi,

I am trying to do exactly what is mentioned here and a response is also marked as potential solution. However, it most definitely does not work.

Any idea how to add create button on the subgrid?

Is below the only way to do it with the new Power "Pages"?

I haven't looked at the links you posted, but this is basically what you do

Add a metadata record to the main form

Set its type to subgrid and select the subgrid in question

There is a lookup filed on the metadata record where you provide the Form that will be used for Creatin the new record - you must populate this.

Also need to configure a Table permission with for the Table in the Subgrid that gives your portal user Create permissions for that table. And you should also configure Append/Append To privileges for the Main record and the Table the subgrid is for.

Add the Table Permission(s) to a Web Role being used by the respective Portal User

Clear the Portal Cache (preview/sync or manually <sitedomain>/_services/about when logged in to the website as a user with the Administrators web role)

That's definitely how you do it. Make sure you're adding the subgrid to a form that is in "Edit" mode. You can't add a subgrid to an "insert" form because the parent record has to exist first.
