Business Process Flow showing on Form Designer but not on front-end

Hi all,

I've been experiencing an issue with creating a Business Process Flow for sometime now. Originally created on a table full of data on a developer environment, I experienced an issue with the Business Process Flow created, shows in the form designer but not on the front-end. Thinking it could be an issue with the BPF or the table, I created a new one.

I've created a Brand New table (Test Table), with a brand new Business Process Flow. The BPF is literally one stage pointing at one column as I just want to see it work. Again, I can see this BPF on the form designer but not the front end.

The BPF is:
- Active (Inc Validated)
- Added to the solution
- BPF Table has been created (Although no data is being populated)
- I have the correct permissions (Sys Admin ensured I have full access to the tables and BPF)
- Published all customisations
- BPFs are enabled on the table.
- Checked the Accent colour bug and this is populated and does not just have a place holder (#)

I've also spent some time with an MVP who is equally as bewildered as myself as

Hi , If your Business Process Flow (BPF) appears in the form designer but not on the front-end, the issue is likely tied to missing data in the BPF entity or a misconfigured form setup. You’ll need to ensure the BPF instance is created and associated with the record, and that the form is configured to display it.

What I`ve see it is you are not initiate the record to see in the front end the process flow running.

Even if the BPF is active and added to the form, it won’t show unless a BPF instance is created for the record.

Confirm the BPF Is Set as the Default Process
    •  Go to Settings > Processes
    •  Open your BPF and ensure it’s marked as “Active” and “Set as default” for the entity
    •  If multiple BPFs exist, the system may not auto-select the one you expect

    Check the Form Configuration
    •  In the form designer, ensure the BPF control is added to the main form, not just a custom form
    •  Make sure the form is published and assigned to the correct security roles

    Hi @wolenberg_

We've already checked over these steps and can confirm that the 'Test BPF' is the only BPF, is default and is at the top of the 'Order Process Flow' (It's the only BPF on that entity and active BPF in the solution.

In the Form designer, the BPF control is added to the main form and is 'Activated' (I'm only using a Main Form and bare minimal just to get a BPF working).
The form is also published and as a System Administrator, I have the correct roles selected.

I have created a number of test records on the entity (Test table) and none of them are displaying the BPF being initiated. Coincidently, no records are being created on the entity the BPF created (Test BPF)

    Hi,

I had the same issue. I solved it by removing other BFPs from my app and just left the one I needed in my app. After that, I deactivated and reactivated my BPF and then re-published my app. See the screenshots below.

Note: You don’t have to remove other BPFs. You can also move yours to the top to be the default BPF to display on the form.

Hope this helps to solve your issue.

    Hey Stum,

That's fixed it for me too.... Removed all of the processes then added them back in 1-by-1 except the Active, New and Translation Processes. Re-added the other BPF's I attempted to create that didn't work and they are also working too.

    Another fail in the logic?!
