See Solution Deployment History to See What Change is Causing Error

Hello;

A month ago, I made a deployment to a solution I had in production. Then, about a week ago, I tried to make another deployment to that solution in production. However, I got an error. I have included the error at the bottom of this post, but my main goal is the following:

Is there a way that I can see which changes were made during the first deployment I made a month ago, so I can see what changes resulted in me getting this error now when I try to deploy?

This is the error I'm getting. There are some posts online about this, but I still wasn't able to solve my problem.

The imported solution and the existing solution must both be managed for upgrade

@nmasmo - I think you're already aware that you cannot import a unmanaged solution over an existing managed solution in the same environment.

Regarding change history, it is possible to view the deployment history via the History Ribbon in the Modern experience to view when a Solution was last deployed. You can also review who deployed the Solution via the legacy experience.

@Amik Unfortunately the history ribbon doesn't tell you which specific things were changed...

I'm guessing this is why people use source control?

@nmasmo indeed. It is not possible to view an audit log of every modified component.
