New IOS Design option hides apps?

Some of my fleet of iPads got an app update today. By default it enables a toggle for new design. When the users went to All Apps it shows nothing? If they toggled that off they would see all the apps shared to them. Is this expected?

The new design feature provides a couple tabs on the bottom.  The default Home, shows apps that have been tagged as Favorites and apps used recently.  If you haven't tagged any favorites or used anything recently it will be blank.  the second tab All apps shows a list of all the apps.  The third tab more shows apps flagged as featured by admins or sample apps published by Microsoft.  All the tabs are searchable.

So your users should see all apps that have been shared with them on the second tab, All Apps.  If they favorite an app for which they are only a user it will show on the Home tab.

When my users went to all apps it said nothing was available. As soon as we toggled off the new design in options they showed up.

Then I would open a support ticket and report it.  The new design is still experimental, but that is not the experience users should have.  Also make sure they went to the All apps tab and not the See all on the Home page.  They aren't the same place.

If it is experimental why was it automatically turned on? I got support calls due to this change.

Not sure.  I haven't seen it turned on by default unless someone changed the settings.

Now that this is rolling out more and more I am seeing the issue more and more. The fix we have found is to clear the cache inside the app and then force close the app. Once it is re-opened then the apps all re-appear.
