SharePoint Connection Missing

Hi all,

I am in the process of building an app, but I keep running into a wall where I lose connection to a SharePoint list ("Availability"). If I try to re-add the list, it names the newly added list as "Availability_2". On the first try of the app, I went through all of my screens and changed anything that referred to the "Availability" list and changed it to "Availability_2". After I did this and saved, I could no longer open the app after it was published ("This app stopped working. Try refreshing your browser"). Well, I tried to do that, clear browser cache, and open the app incognito, with no luck. I could, however, still run it fully in the preview mode of the editor.

So I started a new project, and the same thing occurred. I think it may have something to do with me deleting a record, because in both cases, the list disappeared while I was cleaning up the list.

Please help. I've put many hours into each of these projects. Thanks much!

can you show what the datasources list on your app looks like?

Deleting a record on a list does not cause it to disappear or crash an app.

Are the apps running as created in the builder or did you open them up to the code level in an editor of some type to alter their code

The apps are running as created in the builder. Code was never transferred.

Is this sharepoint list in the same environment as the powerapp, and was it one you added to the app manually when working on the app as opposed to a pre-requisite that already existed in a template etc (and if so is it possible this was a collection or an excel table it premade in onedrive itself)? not sure why it would not show up.  @iAm_ManCat is there anything obvious I am not thinking of? Couldn't imagine it would have gotten messed up at the code level if its never been altered outside the editor.

    Thank you for the response.

I, after hours of troubleshooting, figured out that the Power Automate flow I was using caused it to disappear. I have no idea how, but directly after I deleted the flow (it was an instant flow using the getItemID variable) the SharePoint list came back. I had this set up this way so when an item was submitted, the user had a chance to review the item before actually submitting (versus using the "When an item is created" trigger on Power Automate.)

Have you heard of anyone having this issue before?

No, I have not. Never had a flow delete a sharepoint list from my datasources. Perhaps rebuild it one step at a time manually and see if theres a buggy connector?
