Hey guys! I just discovered that the Notification connector for PowerApps is a premium feature and I was on trial which is why I was able to use it. But now that the trial is over, I cannot access the app. I want to continue using this feature to send notifications to the employees and I was wondering if I need to get the Plan 1 for everyone wanting to receive a notification or only me(creator of the app and flow) need the Plan 1 subscription.
Scenario 1:
Plan1- Me
Office 365- User 1, User2.... would all get notification
Scenario 2:
Plan1- Me, User 1, User 2....
Thank you!
Hi @Anonymous ,
In order to receive the notification the user needs the app showing under "My apps" in their player. They need to either open the app from "All apps" view or pull it from the AppSource org gallery in home.dynamics.com.
If the user wants to send an push notification using PowerApps Notification connector (which is a premium connector) within his/her app, he/she should purchase PowerApps Plan 2 license for his PowerApps at least.
The users who meerly receiving the notification don't need to purchase PowerApps Plan 2 license for their PowerApps.
Please also check and see if the following blog would help in your scenario:
