Hello,

I’m posting here because I’ve been stuck on the same issue for three weeks.

I’m trying to create a bot that can handle intranet-related questions, such as:

  • What is the restaurant menu for today or tomorrow?
  • Who is Marc Keller? (The bot should provide details like email, phone number, department, and job title.)

The bot should also be able to answer general intranet questions. Currently, I’ve provided it with a text file containing all the intranet information.

Additionally, I want the bot to include clickable URL links in its responses if they are mentioned in the text file.

Also i want to know if is possible to connect a copilot to an another one

    Creating a Intranet Copilot
Hello @Artur Stepniak, Thanks for your advise.

I already use dataverse but the problem is when i ask who is "Marc Keller" for example.

The bot say "Marc Keller" is a record created in ...

    Its so strange.

Can we talk in dm it will be more easy i guess because i have a lot of question.

    Thank you

    Hello,

you should switch the datasource - it won't work in a reliable way if you're going to use a simple text file. You can consider SP list or Dataverse table - just any structured datasource would be good. That way you can add tables with various information and the bot can decide which table to call with what queries.
It's possible to connect one copilot to another one, but it's a complicated task - you'd need use Bot Framework SDK, create a bot using that SDK and then convert it to a skill. Then skill could be used in Copilot Studio agent. See docs: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-copilot-studio/configuration-add-skills.

In case of any other questions, let me know. If the answer helped you, mark it, so that others can benefit from it.

    Best regards,
