Cannot Download Timeline Attached Documents in Portal

Hi Everyone,

I am trying to achieve a really simple outcome, but am getting nowhere.  All of the stuff I've searched for implies that I should be able to see and download attached files from a form in Portal - but it isn't working for me.

  1.  I have attached documents to my timeline control in my model driven app.
  2.  I have a basic form which is accessed from a Portal list using View Details.
  3.  I have set metadata on the basic form to access notes
  4.  I have set table permissions for the parent table and Note/Annotations to view only.

But this is what I see in Portal:-

Would appreciate it if anyone could explain to me how they achieved this.

    Hi @OneManFanClub

Ensure the Enable Table Permissions checkbox is selected on the form for which you want notes to appear.

    Hi @OneManFanClub

As @hardikv  mentioned pls check the table permission is enabled for your custom entity and as well as annotation entity.

In addition, what I figured out was instead of setting it as a parent, you can make it as Global for Annotation Table.

Once done. In Portal studio > Sync configuration and Browse Website. Press ctrl + f5 for a hard refresh.

    Hope it helps.

Many thanks to @hardikv and @ragavanrajan.  Table permissions are enabled.  I am going to rebuild the form and permissions and will update the thread.

Having reworked the form, I notice that the attachment Text did not include *WEB* - and so did not render in the portal - easy to get caught by that one.  Many thanks for your assistance.
