Power Apps information flow to Power Automate Desktop and back

Hello, I'm a little bit new at this and just need some guidance or ideas to utilize.

This build involves two parts:

  • I'm trying to have information entered in a power apps screen flow into a power automate desktop flow to be used as a variable.
  • Then I'm trying to have the status of the desktop flow flow back into a power apps screen to show if it failed at a step or succeeded - Like a status report

Any insight here would be appreciated.

HI @HafeezAdeoye For part one, you can create instant flow which will take the information that you have entered in PowerApps as input parameter. Please check this article: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-apps/maker/canvas-apps/how-to/trigger-flow and that same instant flow will also trigger the Power Automate desktop flow. Please check this article: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-automate/desktop-flows/trigger-desktop-flows which will take the parameter from app.

And for part 2, I believe this can help you : https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/Power-Automate-Desktop/How-to-pass-data-between-desktop-flow-and-cloud-flow/td-p/951220

But you need to use a response action named as for your part 2.
