Email sent dependent on a drop down field

Hello All,

I have created a back-end Admin Page for a training request Portal, 2 portals total, where Admins can see and edit the requests. In the Admin Page they are able to edit the Form and change the Requests "Status" on whether its in the works, not yet started, or completed. They are then able to save their changes by using "SaveForm".

What I am trying to do is send an email when they choose the dropdown pick of "Complete" In the "Status" form field and save that form. Can I do this?

Completion Report Email.PNG

I have attached an Image that shows the dropdown fields. I want the email to ONLY be sent when "Status" is changed to "Facilitation Completed" and then to be sent when they click "Save Edit" (Which is just SaveForm).

Any help would be appreciated

Best,

Mono

    Yes, you can use the Outlook connector to do this.

    @Anonymous
    You can obtain what status was Selected with this code.

    ComboBox_Status.Selected.your_column_name

    Then you could put this code in the OnSelect property of your button.

    If(ComboBox_Status.Selected.your_column_name="Facilitation Complete", some_email_code_here)

    Hello @mdevaney ,

    I am trying the second code you have provided and came out with:

    Facilitation Complete.PNG

    As you can see the "= "Facilitation Completed" is not working. I have tried a couple different things, but no luck. Anything you can spot that I am doing wrong?

    Please and thank you!

    Might sound strange, but it looks like one of your quotation marks is a weird format. Deleting and pasting this

    "Facilitation Completed"

    @Anonymous

    Yes, that's true.  He must have copied the code directly from the forum.  Sometimes that happens.
