Activate checkbox in a gallery using a collection

I have a collection called UserDept with a Department column and I have a gallery with the departments and a checkbox next to it, which property of the checkbox should I use so that the checks are active as long as they are in the UserDept collection.

If the collection in the department column has administration and finance, I want those checks to be active and the others not. Thank you very much in advance for your help

can you try this in the default property of the checkbox:

Not(IsBlank(LookUp(UserDept, Department = ThisItem.Department)))
