Changing Text Color on Forms and Adding Text Boxes

Hello all,

Is there currently a way to change text color on the form in the entity without using a canvas app and also is there a way to add text boxes instead of just fields? I want to do this all on the form level and not in a canvas app because a canvas app is currently not being used. I have an iframe of a model driven app in a portal that uses these forms.

I have the same question (0)

    Hi @xyvic ,

You can change certain elements of a Model-Driven app using Themes https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powerapps/maker/model-driven-apps/create-themes-organization-branding.  However, they are quite limited and you can't change the text colour of individual fields etc.

When you say "add text boxes instead of just fields", do you mean add some text to the form that is not editable?  You can do this by adding a HTML web resource.  See this article https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powerapps/maker/model-driven-apps/create-edit-web-resources

For web resources that are of Type = Webpage (HTML) there is a rich Text Editor where you can write your own text and format it without having to write HTML code.

Thanks for your answer! I was inferring that I only want to add the fields in the forms through the entity and not on the portal itself.

Yes, that is right.  You add the HTML web resource to the Model-Driven form for the entity.
