What happens to connection references in an app when the owner leaves

Hello Community,

One of my team members who developed multiple Power Apps apps is leaving the org soon. So I'm changing the apps' ownerships to other accounts.

But what will happen to the connection references? Will they going to fail when the owner leaves?

How can I change those connection references in the apps?

I have the same question (0)

Identify the specific connections that you need to change.  You can do that by filtering the connections list in the Power App website.  Then you can use the context menu on each connection to change the account being used.

    Hello @Pstork1,

I tested the "Switch Account" option and tried to connect it to my account, but I was not able to see that connection in my connection list. Also, it seems like the "Switch Account" did not change the owner of the connection.

I'm confused so I need some conviction:

    1. Once I switch it, will this connection reference last and function even though the original owner account is removed?

    2. How can I take control of this connection (see it in my connections list)?

You need to change the Owner of the App and change the connection.  If you don't see the connection in your list track it down through the Power Platform admin site.
