Hi

need help on the button to hide and show .. I cannot get it to be one button.. what is the best solution

in the gallery each row next to the record

I have a patch button

1)user should only see VIEW when they log in the page without the dropdown number box.

2) when they click view it should go to the number box  and when they select the number then the patch box will appear to submit.

after they click the patch, the number box and patch button must be disappear and show only VIEW button

Can one button do all the tricks?   I dont wan to see so many button and also to cancel if they don't want to patch.  Thanks.

First user will only see view button.

When he clicks view button he will se drop down. Default value will be "-".

When user selects some number patch will be visible.

Once user patch the value. Dropdown and patch button will be hide again. Only view will show.

Hi @zmansuri   Great. Thanks for the detail

    Few questions

    1)

It is possible to set the drop down value to default at 1?   🙂

as I have text box showing the reminder

Your image 4 item for drop down, currently mine is Sequence(TotalSlots - SlotTaken); how to default as I? as this will affect the text A to display..   I cannot hardcode it as the admin will input the total on SP list. Thanks

By default first item will be selected in dropdown. If it isn't you can set it from dropdown's default property. On the patch button i am checking for "-" you can write same condition for 1.

@zmansuri  - do you mean..  If(dropdown.Selected.Value = "1" ,true, false) ?   still hv the yellow warning

If you can add first item as - then my given formula will work.

If you can't set this on patch button's visible property.

     If(dropdown.Selected.Value = "1" ,true, false)

That way when your dropdown have default value 1 inside patch button will not show. When someone select any number except 1. Patch will be visible
