Delegation - Collection vs Collect & ClearCollect

Hi PA:

 

In https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powerapps/maker/canvas-apps/delegation-overview

there is something confusing:

 

Collection vs ClearCollect and Collect

- Are they Delegable or NOT?

 

Some notable items missing from the above list (delegable)

 

Non-delegable functions

All other functions do not support delegation, including these notable functions:

    I think the answer you are looking for is Collect and ClearCollect are not delegatable. Specific example:

     

    If you do Collect(MyCollection, SharePointDataSource) you will only get the first 500 records back. 

     

    I believe if you created a collection with more than 500 items you could use all of the functions like Search with it but performance is pretty bad.

    Thanks so much for sharing.

     

    In fact, I just need CLARIFICATION (not answer) from PA Team to avoid confusion to user from the Documentation,

    Delegation has been changed to 2,000 (Under Experimental Features).. just to share with you in case you forget to follow with the latest update (couple of months ago).

     

    In fact, few of us, including @mr. dang, have several options on how to clear the delegation obstacles months ago. It is under another username of mine (hpkeong but changed to this username due to problem at MS Forum).

     

    Anyhow, appreciate of your sharing.
