Dear Experts, I am trying to create as many as 60+ actions in a business rule. Is it possible to edit them at once using text-based formula rather than creating the 60+ action boxes one by one (which is super slow).
I don't think anyone has come up with another way.
My tongue in cheek answer: Go back in time to a previous version before someone decided to make the GUI look pretty but ignored the fact that they slowed down the creation of them immensely.
I would only use business rules for simple logic.
When you get to 60 rules, it's long past the time to go JavaScript. Plenty of guides out there of how to do, but obviously not lo-code.
Probably I can use Power Automate instead. However, I'm afraid this may cause a spike in the number of flow runs and hit the daily limit. This leads to my next question, any difference between using Business Rules in Dataverse vs using Automated Flow in Power Automate to do the same?
Flow is not equivalent of Business Rules.
Form based Business Rules the equivalent would be client side scripting (note: as mentioned by mjburley BR's only work well for simple things due to their in built limitations, whereas the client side sdk has a lot more capability)
Sever based Business Rules the equivalent would be real-time plugin or workflow.
Flow's Dataverse connector is not synchronous (not real-time) so can not be used to validate prior to a save being committed.
